Bottomless Lakes State Park Campground
Bottomless Lakes was the first state park in New Mexico. Campsites at this facility have full hookups, restrooms and showers. Lea Lake is the onnly of seven lakes open for swimming, and Devil's Inkwell is stocked with trout during the winter season for fishing. Acitivities at the park include hiking, swimming fishing, camping, picnicking and scuba diving. Directions To get to the park from Roswell, go east on US 380 for 12 mi (19 km) and then go south on NM 409 for 3 mi(5 km).
