Bottomless Lakes was the first state park in New Mexico. There are seven small lakes in the the area, but only Lea Lake is open for swimming. Devil's Inkwell is stocked with trout during the winter season for fishing. Acitivities at the park include hiking, swimming fishing, camping, picnicking and scuba diving.
